Join Iranian-Canadian artist and educator Mehran Modarres-Sadeghi for a two-classes long Botanical Drawing Workshop.
On Saturday, September 10 and 17, join Massy Arts, and Iranian-Canadian artist and educator Mehran Modarres-Sadeghi for two in-person Botanical Drawing workshops to develop skills in drawing plants and flowers from observation.
Using various drawing materials such as graphite pencils, pens, coloured pencils, and watercolours, they will explore basic drawing techniques of contour drawing, shading, blending, and textural drawing while drawing from native plants of the West Coast Botanical.
This event is open to all of our community, and registration is mandatory. The gallery is wheelchair accessible and a gender-neutral washroom is on-site.
Covid Protocols: For all in-person events, attendees must provide proof of vaccination, wear a mask (N95 masks are encouraged and recommended as they offer the best protection), and consent to having their temperature checked at the front door. We ask that if you are showing any symptoms, that you stay home. Thank you kindly.
