On March 13th, the McMaster Iranian Student Association is inviting all our Iranian friends and the McMaster community to join us in celebrating Norooz at our 4th annual Norooz Gala, everyone is welcome!
Norooz is the Iranian New Year celebrated by ethno-linguistic communities worldwide. Each year, the Iranian New Year starts on the first day of spring and to celebrate the beginning of a new year, Iranians gather around to eat traditional food and live their traditions.
Your ticket to Norooz Gala, includes entry to the event, music by DJ PS, a tasty Persian dinner, as well as entertainment and a variety of performances.
For attendees 19+ with valid government ID, a cash bar will be available.Be sure to buy your ticket early, ticket prices will increase at each tier.
Tickets are also available to purchase in person at Compass Information Centre (located in the Student Centre)Dress code: Semiformal / Formal
