In September 2022, Mahsa Amini, a 22 year-old Iranian-Kurdish woman, died after she was detained by the so-called morality police. Her death sparked a revolution for freedom in Iran, where brave Iranian women have been on its front lines.
Reza Yazdanpanah as the composer and the director of this special Woman Life Freedom concert brought a beautiful community of people together to raise awareness about the dire situation in Iran, to bring people together in solidarity, and to raise funds for the protestors in need.
The powerful revolutionary chant of “Women – Life – Freedom” spreading throughout Iran and the world will be heard during this concert.
