International Nowruz Day Celebration
Nowruz is a messenger of peace, friendship, benevolence for the humankind and admiration for the nature not only for Iranians, but for several nations and tribes (Afghanistan, Albania, Azerbaijan, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, India, Iran (Islamic Republic of), Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkey , Kurdistan and Turkmenistan) who adorn this ancient festivity and celebrate it. Nowruz is an opportunity for rethinking, restarting and remaking.
Nowruz celebration event includes different cultural and art activities such as dance and musical performances.
We cordially invite you to join us in celebrating Persian New Year at UOttawa Alumni Theatre on Sunday March 24, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 PM.
The performing artists as well as the organizers would be honored and pleased to see you celebrating and enjoying with them.
