“The City of Stories” is a famous Iranian play by Bijan Mofid, which was recorded as a four-hour program in 1345 (Persian calendar) and gained widespread fame two years later with its performance at the Shiraz Art Festival.
Now, Ottawa is set to host an intriguing adaptation of this old play, which will be performed with live music in a beautiful setting. Directed by Montreal-based artist Javad Rostami, the play features a total of 14 actors.
