Navaye Eshgh Fundraising Concert - Niyaz Live in Toronto

“With the resounding success of our last fundraising concert, “Avaye Mohabbat”, in January and through the amazing support of our generous sponsors and donors, Kahrizak Foundation of Canada was able to purchase 2 brand new high efficiency industrial sanitizing washers for Kahrizak Charity Foundation in Iran. We have now embarked on a new project. This time we are excited to present Niyaz, masters of mystical trance music and pioneers of cross-cultural Middle Eastern fusion music, in a special program that will delight and entertain you with the beautiful and unique presentation of “Navaye Eshgh” fundraising concert.

Niyaz music is described as “mystical music with a modern edge”. It is primarily a blend of Sufi mysticism and trance electronica. Niyaz called “an evolutionary force in contemporary Middle Eastern music” by the Huffington Post, invites listeners to embark upon a philosophical quest into the human depths with a message of hope, and a universal tribute to beauty, cultural and spiritual diversity, freedom and dignity for all…

Niyaz captivating vocalist/ composer and two-time JUNO Award nominee Azam Ali, adapts Persian, Indian, Turkish, and Mediterranean folk sounds, poetry and songs with Western electronic instrumentation and programming. Guided by the mystical poetry of legendary poets such as Rumi and ancient wisdom of traditional folk songs, Niyaz is committed to creating music with a deep social message aimed at uniting people from different cultural and religious backgrounds through our shared humanity while exploring the mystical connections between the source of divinity and the love within each of us.

“Navaye Eshgh” is a charity concert organized by a group of volunteers and artists who are inviting you to be carried deeply into an inner journey towards peace. It is a unique experience that profoundly blends powerful music, mesmerizing singing, spiritual philosophy, and moving dance performance to touch people’s hearts and encourage them to step forward in helping and supporting those in need.
