Azerbaijani Dance on Streets!

Hello Everyone!!

This will be our 3rd year dancing on the streets of Bloor/Spadina junction as part of the Open Streets TO festival!
It is very exciting to dance on the streets! You don’t get this opportunity every day. 😉

If you love music, dance, excitement, happiness, and diversity, we invite you to come and join us for our Azerbaijani dance workshop with live music on the streets of Toronto on Sunday, August 19th.

Like always, we will have wonderful musicians and singers performing live, to whose rhythms we will dance outside in the streets of Toronto.

We will introduce Azerbaijani Group Dance (Yalli) with simple steps that everybody can learn and do! There is also an opportunity to dance however you like.

Notes:
– The main goal behind the event is to have a good time. 🙂
– No prior experience/knowledge in any type of dance is necessary!
– Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes.
– You are very likely to get tired and sweat a lot! So, you can think of this as a fun workout too.
– Bring a water bottle so you don’t get thirsty and consider wearing a hat or sunglasses in case it is sunny!
– There are many cafes and restaurants around in case you want a snack! 😉
