- Overview
Join me along with Ward 23’s Councillor, John Filion, for a FREE OUTDOOR FILM SCREENING in the heart of our community: The Mel Lastman Square Amphitheatre – 5100 Yonge.
Bring a blanket and curl up under the stars as we watch The Salesman, 2017 ‘s Oscar Winner in the category of Best Foreign Language Film. This film will be shown with English subtitles and is rated PG for mature theme and language.
This film was screened outdoors earlier this year to rave reviews in London, England’s Trafalgar Square.
The Salesman is written and directed by Iranian filmmaker Asghar Farhadi and stars Taraneh Alidoosti and Shahab Hosseini.
Start time will be shortly after dusk – approximately 8:45 PM on Friday, May 26.
PLEASE NOTE: As the outdoor film is weather dependent, please check my website (aliehsassi.liberal.ca) or John’s website (johnfilion.ca) for any changes due to weather. A rain date has been arranged for Friday, June 16.
