Monthly Azerbaijani Halloween Dance & Potluck

Hello Everyone!

After our outdoor summer workshops, we are back to our usual indoor location in downtown! This is going to be a Halloween dance and potluck workshop! So, be creative and do something artsy! At the minimum, bring a mask or a hat (get it at the Dollar Store!) or put some fun colors on your face! 😉
For potluck, bring any food you like.
Time & Location: Friday, October 26th from 7-10 pm at the United Steelworkers Hall at 25 Cecil Street in Toronto.

It will be a fun evening with dancing (Shalaxo, Yalli, Lezgi, etc.) and singing along with live music. Everybody is welcome! You don’t need to have any experience in dance to enjoy this event.

Notes:
– There is plenty of free parking at the back of the building. The location is also super close to TTC.
– Kids are welcome, but please keep an eye on them.
– Do wear comfortable shoes (leather/suede soles) and clothes to allow you to dance more comfortably and enjoy the best as the floor might be slippery.
– If you dance, you will sweat! So, be mindful of what you wear. You will have exercise and fun at the same time!

This is a voluntary cultural activity! In order for us to be able to keep going, we need your financial contribution as the rent here is expensive (suggested donation of $5 to $10).
