Nowruz Celebration

You are invited to celebrate Nowruz (new years) with the Afghan Community of Montreal.

When: Saturday, March 18th 6:00pm-1::00am.

Ticket: 15$ online; 20$ at the door (food included)

Nowroz, the traditional celebration of the New Year, is celebrated the first day of spring largely in Afghanistan, Iran, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and some other countries.

The event is open to everyone and aims to share the Afghan cultural heritage with the general public, provides participants with the opportunity to learn about Afghan culture and thereby promoting inter-cultural understating and coexistence among members of communities in greater Montreal.

We are planning an exciting night full of suprises, performances, games, peotry, dance, music, fashion show, funny skits and delicious afghan food!!
