Abstract:

Building a community meansn building bridges.

Our community has a young history in Canada and thus in Montreal. A community with its roots coming from the great ancient civilization and traditions. In order to better function in a modern society such as Canada, there is a need to build a modern democratic structure.

Nowruzland Library Foundation, registered as a non-profit organization in 2016, wants to contribute to the process of community building using modern tools provided by a democratic society leaning on the ancient rich heritage of our region.

Abou the speaker:

Khosro Shemiranie is a journalist, one of the founders of Nowruzland Library. He has lived in Canada since 2001 and stayed in the city of Montreal since 2004.

He was one of the co-founder of Chacavac Cultural Centre and weekly Journal Hafteh.
