Asian Heritage Month video

My name is David Der and I’m a production coordinator for www.gotoast.ca working on the Asian Heritage Month video on behalf of the National Film Board of Canada and Canadian Heritage. I’m looking for community leaders or very involved members to say “hello” in our video as well as young people under 30.   We are requesting that people interested in participating in the video film themselves reflect on what it means to be Asian. We are looking to have Pan-Asian representation and we’re lacking in representation from people of Western Asia. Our video is mostly centered around denouncing anti-Asian racism with parts of it showcasing the wrongs that were done to Asians in the past in Canada: Chinese laborers building the railroads, Chinese head tax and the Komagata Maru incident.
