Founded in 2012, Victoria Iranian-Persian Cultural Society is a non-profit, multicultural, non-partisan, non-religious, and non-denominational society. We thrive to provide educational opportunities, counseling, and services to newcomers in learning the English language, employment training & career development, translation & interpretation, and other assistance for settlement in Canada. Over 1,700 Iranian-Persian are currently living in Vancouver Island and Greater Victoria and we encourage, facilitate, and support their cultural, social, humanitarian, athletic, and artistic activities. We support assisting newcomers to settle and integrate into Canadian society by providing awareness about the Canadian social & cultural structure and providing a connection with established Canadian entities. We conduct our activities without the purpose of personal gain. Any benefits & profits earned by the society will be used to support and serve the Iranian/Persian communities.
