Shokoofeh Iranian Children Association of Ottawa, SICAO, is a non-for-profit, cooperative organization which was founded to create a nurturing environment for our children to develop and strengthen a sense of connection, pride and appreciation of Iranian culture, heritage and history.
We believe that through workshops, Iranian celebrations and events, not only we install sense of connection in our children, but also promote and share our history and culture with our fellow Canadians, thus further enrich the cultural diversity of Canada.

کانون شکوفه‌های ایرانی با هدف ایجاد بستری مناسب برای پیوند نونهالان با ریشه های ملی و ميراث فرهنگي ايرانی و برای پرورش و تقویت حس افتخار به فرهنگ و تاریخ ایران بنا شده است
باور ما اینست که بزرگداشت جشن ها و مناسبت های ایرانی و برگزاری کارگاه های آموزشی نه تنها ارتباط فرزندانمان را با ما و فرهنگ ايراني نزدیکتر میکند، بلکه از طریق مشارکت فرهنگی با جامعه میزبان، موجب غنای تنوع فرهنگی جامعه کانادا می شود
