    The MAI (Montreal, intercultural arts) is a place of creation and a diffuser pl Uridisciplinary in contemporary art whose mission is to promote intercultural artistic practices. It opened its doors to the public in May 1999 and has just celebrated its 12 years of activities. The only organization with such a mandate across Canada, it presents original creations in dance, music, theater (in French and English), multidisciplinary arts, visual and media arts.

    It has a theater, a gallery, a café and two rehearsal rooms.
