جنس و جنسیت و پدیده های وابسته به آن از چالش‌انگیزترین مفاهیم تاریخ بشری بوده اند که همواره با ارزشهای فرهنگی آمیخته می باشند. لذا بستر جوامع بسته به بافت فرهنگی، مذهبی و اجتماعی در شکل‌گیری و تجربه جنسیت اثرگذار است. جامعه ی ایران به‌ واسطه ی برخورداری از ویژگیهای منحصربه‌ فردی نظیر غلبه ی فرهنگ مردسالار و ساختار خانواده ی متناسب با آن و یا تأکید بر گفتمان دینی در ساختار اجتماعی و قانونی، می تواند دربردارنده ناشناخته های بسیاری باشد که به فراخور آنها تجربه ی شکل‌ گیری هویت جنسیتی و یا ترا جنسیت در آن به‌ گونه‌ای متفاوت با جوامع دیگر رقم بخورد. در کنار تجربه‌های مشترک جهانی برای افرادی که خارج از چارچوب‌های جنسی و جنسیتی جوامع می‌ ایستند، در این گفتگو به نقل تجربه ی زیسته و مسیر پرپیچ‌ و خم زندگی افراد تراجنسیتی و تراژاد (تراجنس) ایرانی می پردازیم.
Sex, gender and related phenomena have been enumerated as one of the most challenging concepts in human history. These notions are often intermingled with cultural values. Therefore, societies’ cultural, religious and social context affect the gender formation. By virtue of its specific characteristics, namely, the dominance of patriarchal culture in family foundation as well as the effects of religion in every aspect of social life and legislation, Iran’s society holds many unknowns. As such, and owing to these characteristics, the process of gender formation and transsexuality/transgenderism might be experienced differently in the Iranian culture from other societies. Alongside considering the globally mutual experiences, in this talk we will narrate the lived experiences of Iranian TS people.
