A panel of thinkers and activists in the Iranian diaspora conversation about the 2022 Iranian Revolution.
ByWLFC (woman life freedom coalition)
As the 2022 Iranian Revolution has deepened and those within Iran have clearly addressed themselves to the world community for Woman, Life, Freedom, it is time to make our neighbours and fellow citizens listen and understand what’s going on.
We invite you to take part in the first conference of its kind to discuss the common struggle for liberation and human dignity, and the next steps we can take as a global community in support of freedom movements inside Iran.
The Woman Life Freedom Coalition invites you to take part in a moderated roundtable about the struggle for liberation and human dignity, and the next steps we can take as a global community in support of freedom movements inside Iran. This panel is brought to you in close consultation with the Simon Fraser University, University of British Columbia, and in partnership with the MENA Film Festival and other grassroots organizations across Vancouver, including Woman Life Freedom collective and Mahsa Amini Justice. Our goal is to develop a common set of tools and base of knowledge-whether as Iranians or allies-to support the causes of justice for the victims of the Islamic Republic, and freedom for the people of Iran. The afternoon will involve a moderated roundtable discussion with guest speakers who have emerged as voices for segments of the Iranian resistance movement in the diaspora and are leading international calls to support the 2022 Iranian Freedom Movement, along with curated speeches, music performances and an audience Q&A to discuss messaging and strategies for union among the disparate voices calling for support of the 2022 Iranian Revolution. This panel is a community organized and funded initiative.
