About Myth of 4:
Myth of 4, is a new series of Zamin Project founded by Shaghayegh Cyrous, and, presented by Clarion Alley Mural Project, showcasing new videos and performances by ten Iranian artists based in the Bay Area. Myth of 4 reimagines and recreates our present and future. In this program, the artists redefine their imaginary worlds, inspired by the four elements, Earth, Water, Air, and Fire. The theme of Afsaneye 4/ Myth of 4 blossomed out of a series of conversations between the participating artists in the project.
The project includes ten events featuring a live performance, video screenings, and artist talks in three venues, Central Stage in Richmond, CA (East Bay), Artists’ Television Access (ATA), and The David Ireland House in San Francisco, and one week screening at Hamzianpour & Kia Gallery in Los Angeles, California. This program is made possible by the California Arts Council.
